What games and activities can I enjoy at Rec Haus?
With an incredible variety of games and activities, you’ll need more than one visit to experience them all. Challenge your friends to Bocce Ball, Bags, Putter Pong, Shuffleboard, Pool, Darts, Pinball, Skeeball, Basketball, Golden Tee, and a wide array of arcade games. There’s something for everyone—so let the good times roll!
How do I pay for the games?
Most of our games, including pinball, darts, and all arcade games, can be played using a game card. You can easily purchase one at the kiosk near the hostess stand, then load credits onto the card using your credit or debit card—you’re ready to play in no time!
In addition, several activities are available for rent at the hostess stand on an hourly or half-hourly basis. These include the Game Lanes, where you can enjoy Bocce Ball, Bags, Putter Pong, or Beanbag Pong. Other rentable activities include Shuffleboard, Pool Tables, and Foosball.
Do I have to play games?
Rec Haus features 33 bar seats and 50 additional table seats, offering plenty of space to unwind. Not into games? No problem—kick back, relax, and enjoy your favorite beverage in comfort.
What if I just want to watch sports and hang out?
No worries! With over 25 TVs throughout the building, Rec Haus is the perfect spot to catch all the action—whether it’s the Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, Cubs, or White Sox. Come enjoy the game with us!

Outside food and drinks are not permitted, but our kitchen and bar at Rec Haus offer plenty of delicious options for all tastes.
Is Rec Haus family-friendly?
Absolutely! Rec Haus welcomes children of all ages to enjoy our games. However, please note that after 9 PM Sunday-Thursday and after 7pm Friday-Saturday, the venue is for guests 21 and older.
Are dogs allowed at Rec Haus?
For the safety and comfort of all our guests, pets are not permitted inside Rec Haus.

Right outside Rec Haus, you’ll find several handicap parking spaces for your convenience. Inside, we’re fully equipped with an elevator to access the second floor and ADA-compliant restrooms, ensuring an inclusive and accessible experience for all our guests.
What is the ID policy at Rec Haus?
To ensure the safety of all our guests, anyone appearing under 40 will be required to show ID when ordering alcoholic beverages. After 9 PM, a door attendant will be verifying driver’s licenses to confirm proof of age.
What are acceptable forms of payment at Rec Haus?
Rec Haus accepts all major credit and debit cards for your convenience, making it quick and easy to pay for your drinks and game cards. Please note that we do not accept cash payments, so be sure to bring your card when visiting.
What happens if I forget to close my tab?
If a guest forgets their card, their tab will be automatically closed out, and a 25% gratuity will be added to the total.
